Use CHATGPT 4 for FREE Without ChatGPT Plus Subscription
The latest breakthrough in artificial intelligence technology is GPT-4, which powers the ChatGPT Plus or ChatGPT-4 AI chatbot. According to its creators, GPT-4 is a “large multimodal model” that displays “human-level performance” on various professional and academic benchmarks. Unlike its predecessor, GPT-3 or GPT 3.5, GPT-4 can even comprehend image inputs, and the AI can analyze objects or translate texts within the photo.
The only downside is that users need to have a ChatGPT Plus subscription, which costs $20 per month, to test the powerful GPT-4 language model. However, there is a way to use GPT-4 or ChatGPT-4 for free, without the ChatGPT Plus subscription.
Microsoft recently confirmed that their Bing AI or Bing Chat is also powered by GPT-4. Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s corporate VP and consumer chief marketing officer, tweeted that “we’re happy to confirm the new Bing is running on GPT-4, which we’ve customized for search.” In addition, Mehdi also replied to some users’ tweets, indicating that Bing AI has been using GPT-4 for a while.
Bing AI or Bing Chat is available to use for free, but users may need to join a waitlist. The access may come in a week’s time. To use Bing AI or Bing Chat, users can download the Bing app or use Bing Search on the Microsoft Edge browser. The company is also adding Bing AI to the taskbar and some Microsoft services, such as Skype.
The new GPT-4 is more powerful, accurate, and sophisticated than its predecessors. It can even write lengthy movie scripts, and its capabilities have been showcased to outperform GPT-3.5 in various examinations. GPT-4 is also more efficient in understanding other languages than previous models.
Once the GPT-4 API is available, developers worldwide, including Indian developers, can integrate it into their tools. Furthermore, users can personalize GPT-4’s personality to enhance the user experience. For instance, users can program a system message that says, “You are a tutor that always responds in the Socratic style. You never give the student the answer, but always try to ask just the right question to help them learn to think for themselves.”
Lastly, OpenAI is currently testing GPT-4’s image-analyzing capabilities with Be My Eyes, and Microsoft may also add this feature to Bing AI in the future. So, if you want to experience the power of GPT-4 for free, you can use Bing AI or Bing Chat to try it out.
